FAQ

What brokers ask us most.

Short answers. Not here? Call us.

Getting started

How do we start?

Send us a load you covered last week. We show how the agent would have run it, then set it up on your lanes.

What do you need from us?

Carriers, lanes, rate history, onboarding rules, do-not-use list. A CSV is enough.

Do we need an IT person or a new TMS?

No. Keep your TMS. Forward the tender or type a note to hand over a load. We connect to the TMS when you're ready.

Do my reps need training?

No. Reps write in plain words on the load and answer the agent with one tap.

Can we start small?

Yes. One lane, one desk, or just check calls and PODs. Small is the easier start.

What happens in the first loads?

Real loads, next to your reps. Your rep sees every call and quote and corrects the agent on the load. You decide when it runs a step alone.

Carriers and channels

Do my carriers need to install anything?

No. Calls, texts and WhatsApp, same as today.

Which channels?

Phone first, then text, and WhatsApp for carriers who prefer it. Email for tenders, rate cons and documents.

Which languages?

English, Spanish, Punjabi (Latin letters too), Ukrainian, Russian, Hindi, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, more on request. Voice notes too. Your reps read it all in English.

Will it call carriers we've never worked with?

Only carriers you give it or approve. A new carrier calls on your load board post: the agent takes the quote, runs the check, and books only if you approve.

What if a carrier wants to talk to a person?

It pulls your rep in right away. Your rep calls, or writes in English and the agent translates.

Can it negotiate rates?

Yes, within your max. Quotes come in all-in, fuel and extras shown. Over your max, it asks.

Control and safety

Does the agent tell people it's an AI?

Yes. It says it's an AI agent working for your brokerage. Ask for a person, you get your rep.

What about fraud and double brokering?

Every carrier, before booking: authority and insurance on FMCSA, contact details against the official record, your do-not-use list. Anything off comes to you before the tender.

Can it book a truck or pay a carrier without us?

No. Bookings, detention, lumper and payments, QuickPay too, need your rep's OK.

What if the agent gets something wrong?

Every call and text is saved on the load, so you see what happened. Your rep fixes it there. Money never moves without a rep's OK.

When does it call us in?

Unhappy shipper, claim, carrier that doesn't check out, rate over max, someone asking for a person. It calls you in instead of guessing.

Data and security

Who can see our carriers, rates and shippers?

Only your team. Never other companies. We don't sell your data.

Are calls recorded?

Yes. The agent says so in its first sentence. Recording and transcript go on the load.

How do texts work?

Registered business messaging (10DLC). Each text names your brokerage. Reply STOP and texts stop.

Where is our data stored?

In a US region. More on the security page.

Is our data used for other customers?

No. Your data runs your loads only.

Pricing and contract

How is Retexa priced?

No subscription. You pay for loads in work. A load is billed when the agent takes it into work. No licenses, seats or per-minute fees. Price per load depends on your volume and the steps you hand over. See pricing.

Do we pay for loads our reps cover?

No. Only loads the agent takes into work.

How do we get a price?

Send lanes, loads a month and the steps you'd hand over. We send a price per load.

Is there a long contract?

No long contract. Stop any time.

Company

Are you a broker?

No. Retexa is software. You stay broker of record. The agent works under your name and authority.

Who is behind Retexa?

Retexa Inc., a Delaware company, built by the team behind Sendgage. Ruslan is the founder. See the about page.

Who answers when we call you?

A person on our team. Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00 Central. placeholder
