Covering loads

Thirty calls to cover one load.

The AI agent makes them all at once. It works toward your target, stops at your max and holds a backup truck. Nothing is booked until your rep says yes.

  • 12 carriers on your list run TX → GA dry van. 5 hauled this lane for you in the last 60 days
  • Posted on your load board account. 7 responses so far
  • Called 4, texted 3, WhatsApp to 2. Voicemail left for 2

  • Carlos says 1,650 + fuel. Asking for all-in

Where the truck comes from

It starts with the carriers you already trust.

Who ran the lane for you first, then the rest of your list, then the board. Only carriers you gave it or approved.

Your carrier list

Right equipment, running the origin or destination state. Preferred carriers first. Your do-not-use list never gets a call.

Your lane history

Who hauled Dallas to Atlanta for you, and at what rate. Fell off a load last month: down the list. Delivered early five times: up.

Load board responses

Posts from your account if you want and reads every reply. New carriers go to your rep for onboarding first.

Trucks already near the pickup

Delivering into Dallas today, or "empty in Fort Worth Thursday"? They get asked before anyone 300 miles out.

Everyone at once

Your rep makes one call at a time. The agent makes thirty.

It calls Mike, texts Carlos and WhatsApps Gurpreet in the same minute. It keeps at each one until there's an answer.

  • Phone for the talkers, text and WhatsApp for the rest
  • Lane, equipment, weight and commodity up front
  • Answers from the tender: "touch freight?", "any lumper?", "drop or live?"
  • Anything not in the tender goes to your rep

Each carrier has its own chat on the load, with the recording or the full text.

Reading the answers

"1650 + fuel", "call me", a voice note. All written down the same way.

Every answer becomes an all-in rate, a "not available" or a follow-up. Nothing rounded, guessed or lost in a text thread.

Negotiation

It works toward your target and stops at your max.

You give two numbers: target and max. The agent opens below target and moves in small steps, using last month's range and how many trucks are answering. Only trucks over your max left? It asks your rep and promises nothing.

  • Always talks all-in, so fuel and extras don't show up later
  • Never says your max out loud
  • Every counter logged on the load, with the time

1650 + fuel

Agent

Gracias Carlos. ¿Cuánto es todo incluido? Puedo ofrecer 1,700 todo incluido.

Thanks Carlos. What's the all-in? I can offer 1,700 all-in.

Carlos

Con fuel son 1780. No baja, el diesel está caro

With fuel it's 1,780. Can't go lower, diesel is expensive.

Agent

Entendido. ¿Podrías hacer 1,740 si el camión está en Mesquite a las 7?

Understood. Could you do 1,740 if the truck is in Mesquite at 7?

Carlos

1780 final

Follow-ups

Most quotes die in silence, not on price.

It follows up on your schedule, same channel, until a no or the load is covered. Then it tells everyone waiting the load is gone, so they pick up next time.

  • Voicemail, then a text, then one more call before cutoff
  • "Not this week" is saved. No asking again tomorrow
  • "Covered, thanks" sent to everyone it contacted
Tony · TNT Haulingfollow-ups
  • Called, no answer. Left a voicemail with the lane and pickup time
  • Text: "Dry van Dallas to Atlanta, PU tmrw 7–11, 42k. Still running east?"
  • Called again, no answer
  • Last text before the cutoff. No more follow-ups on this load
  • Load covered. "Thanks Tony, this one's covered. We'll call you on the next one"

Ranking the offers

The cheapest truck isn't always the right truck.

Rate comes first. But $50 isn't worth a carrier who was late twice last month, or a truck that still has to deliver in Houston.

  • Rate, all-in, against your target and your max
  • History with you: loads hauled, fall-offs, claims
  • On-time record on your past loads
  • Where the truck is now and when it's empty

Gurpreet at $1,700 is the best fit: lowest rate, on time on all 9 of your loads. Carrier check passed. Book him and hold Andriy as the backup until pickup?

Booking

Your rep says yes. Then the agent does the paperwork.

A booking puts your money and your name on the line. It always comes to your rep as one short question.

  1. Rep approves

One tap, or a reply in plain words: "book Mike instead, he's closer".

  2. Carrier check

Authority, insurance and contact details checked again right before the tender. How the check works.

  3. Rate con out

Sent on your template with the agreed rate and terms. Chased until it's signed.

  4. Backup held

The second-best carrier holds the truck until pickup. A fall-off costs minutes, not the morning.

Every quote goes into your lane rates and every answer into the carrier's history, including the ones that said no. Next week's Dallas to Atlanta starts with better numbers.

Send us a load you covered last week.

We'll show you which carriers the agent would have called, what they'd likely quote and where your rep steps in.
